Jen: The anon who initially asked about the pets specified it was a dog (we didn't publicize the ask for the sake of being straightforward and general since most asks about pets are about dogs.) (´；ω；`)

If you're talking about other pets, like birds, reptiles, tarantulas, uh... it's more practical to keep them at home anyways in their stabilized condition. 

Birds can fly out if their wings aren't clipped, they can bite (and it can hurt A LOT from my own personal experiences with the 'san diego bird rescue') they can get EXTREMELY nervous and hostile with a large, congested group of people, and let's face it, most people don't know what they're doing when handling animals they're not used to. Plus they're a bit more fragile.  (╯︵╰,)

Reptiles? We have a good amount of people with reptile phobias, same with tarantulas. Plus these are pets most people aren't used to and can possibly make them feel uncomfortable.

My personal opinion, just use your best judgement with these things. (❁´◡`❁)

PS- for the bunnies, they're adorable ✖‿✖ but honestly we have like, 600+ people in our group and it'll take way too much time to individually ask everyone what they're allergic to and are comfortable being with!!!

Oh god guys America really isn't that bad aghh

WELL it is quite a big country with individual states having their own quirks and I'm sure if you're well-off and privileged and a non-foreigner, you already got the tools to make it big! However if you're like me, a 20-something clinically depressed still-at-home person hoping to eventually study art and make a career out of it and also live on your own? Yeaaah, America isn't really too relevant for me right now.

I'm not even cynical. I would totally visit the US sometime tho, to see some internet friends! Live there? Noooo clue, future will tell.
