My friend this is why most people hate social justice warriors. All they do is scream about it's not their job to inform you but also say that you absolutely have to be informed or else you're a terrible person. In all honesty? They just do it to think themselves as higher people but it doesn't work that much seeing how self hatred goes hand in hand with social justice. So now we have a bunch of teens busting our balls about things that matter sometimes the wrong way.

I think those folks should be pitied more than hated though.

They're often times very damaged individuals who are trying to take control of their own lives and insecurities in a way that isn't actually healthy for them and causes them far more stress than they need.

It makes me really sad for them.

It's ponett,what do you expect? That kind of breed has idiocy in it's veins.

It just saddens me because I love people a whole lot, I love being truly open and accepting and informing people that there is always another side to things.

Generalizing groups, including the groups you are defending, is not okay.

When you go around spreading hatred in defense of a group, it makes that group look bad.

I sit here feeling terrible whenever people accidentally misgender me because the reaction to correction is always utter terror. They apologize profusely as if I'm going to yell and scream at them, as if making a mistake isn't okay. And it's because of people who insist we get offended by everything that it happens.

I want to show respect and kindness, I want to show I'm no different than anyone else and that I don't need to be cover loved or protected.

I give people the benefit of the doubt, and I know people make really stupid fucking mistakes and they can be corrected from those mistakes. They don't have to be screamed at and shoved in the dirt over it.

You know what helps?

Calmly informing people.

You know what doesn't?

Screaming and yelling insults at them for it.

personaly i think you should have done it,it would have probably made your day and an amazing story to tell your children one day (should you wish to have children)

if i had the cance, i would. i didnt know it happened until afterwards when my mom told me. i was too distracted looking at something else. probably food.
