“I wouldn’t really go so far as to say I didn’t ‘care’.” Cosmos corrects with a light shrug. “It was just never a particularly favored pastime of mine, unlike you two.” He found no humor in these ‘pranks’ that Celestia and Luna looked so fondly upon. It wasn’t that he was completely without such a thing though it was just....difficult to understand is all. 

His horn began to glow, the magic around it also encasing a particular item which he moved over to the moon princess. “Correct me if I am mistaken but I do believe this belongs to you.” He notes the magic fading thus allowing the rubber chicken to fall atop her head letting out a pitiful squeak as it landed. “Besides, you forget that it is our sister dearest who fears those creatures, not I.”
