people don’t realize that just because two friends joke about being gay to each other doesn’t mean they can join in!!! this goes for friends joking in general. strangers are more likely to overstep boundaries because they don’t know much about noel or cody personally (i’m looking at y’all who write cody/noel fanfic). noel saying ‘yeah i’m pretty fucking gay’ and his fans joining in like ‘lmao yeah u are 🤣🤣 sugar gay! haha’ is one thing, but shipping them is a completely different thing. 1/2
writing fanfic and saying theyre soft for each other and ignoring their girlfriends altogether is crossing a line, regardless if they joke about being gay. it’s really not that hard to comprehend. just don’t be weird about it. 2/2
