Sterek Princess and the Pauper AU: Many years ago, a princess – Allison - and a pauper – Stiles – were born at the same time.

Several years later, the kingdom is in trouble and King Argent tells Princess Allison that she is to marry King Derek in order to save their kingdom from bankruptcy. However, Allison is in love with her tutor, Scott.

The pauper, Stiles, is an indentured servant at Madam Blake's Dress Emporium, working off his parents' debt, but dreams of one day leaving and seeing the world.

Unbeknownst to the King, the reason behind the kingdom's bankruptcy is his adviser, Deucalion, has been stealing the gold from the royal mines. Upon learning from his henchmen that the King has arranged Allison's marriage to King Derek, he comes up with a plan to make Allison mysteriously disappear and when King Derek leaves, Deucalion will pretend that he has found her and earn her hand in marriage, allowing him to accede the throne and become king.

Scott takes Allison for a day out into the kingdom so that she can be free for once. Allison hears Stiles, who is performing in the street to earn money for himself, but Madame Blake collects it as part of his debt. Allison and Stiles meet and learn they are identical, apart from their gender and the birthmark on Allison's shoulder. The two bond over their shared troubles and become fast friends. 

That night, Allison is abducted by Ennis and Kali – Deucalion’s henchmen – who leave a false letter saying she ran away.

Scott, doubting the letter, asks Stiles to impersonate the princess, saving the engagement while he investigates Allison's disappearance. Deucalion is surprised when Stiles, disguised as Allison, presents herself at the palace. King Derek introduces himself and, over time, the two fall in love, but Stiles is worried about what will happen if he is found out.

The real Allison escapes Ennis and Kali, but is turned away from the palace because the guards think the princess is already inside. Mistaking Allison for Stiles, Madame Blake forces Allison into her shop and locks her inside. 

Scott, suspicious of Deucalion, follows the man to the house where Allison was being kept and overhears Deucalion's plans to become the king, but is discovered and captured.

Allison coaxes a stray dog who lives outside the dress shop to take her ring and a tag from the dress shop so someone can find her. Unfortunately, Deucalion and his dog intercept her message and find Allison.

Deucalion takes her to the royal mines where she is imprisoned with Scott after Ennis and Kali cause a cave-in. Deucalion goes back to the palace, exposes Stiles as a fake and has him imprisoned. Deucalion convinces the King that Allison is dead.

Stiles escapes the dungeon by singing a lullaby, causing the guard to fall asleep, and taking his keys. He bumps into King Derek who tells him that he doesn't believe Deucalion's claims.

Meanwhile, Allison and Scott find out how to restore the kingdom's resources with some geodes filled with crystals; the two then confess their love for each other.

Stiles finds the stray dog from the shop who Stiles had befriended over the years—Wolfie, as he calls him—and the dog unearths a mine shaft where Scott and Allison are. He and Derek help them escape.

Allison storms into the castle, revealing her birthmark in order to prove who she is. She reveals the truth about Deucalion, who is arrested along with Ennis and Kali.

Allison tells her father that she knows of a way to save he kingdom that doesn’t mean marrying Derek. She then tells her father that she wants to marry the man she loves; Scott.

The kingdom is saved; but Stiles has to return to the dress shop. One day, a young man comes in. Madame Blake instantly fawns over him, but he dismisses her, asking to see Stiles. She’s taken aback, but calls out the young clothier nonetheless. Stiles feels his heart drop when he sees Derek standing in the shop.

Derek asks Stiles to come with him, promising to never tie him down and to give him all the freedom he dreams of. Madam Blake protests, saying Stiles still has a debt to pay off, but Derek silences her, telling her that he’ll see to it that the young man’s debt is paid.

Stiles goes with him, and months later, Allison and Scott marry, and so do Derek and Stiles.

Imagine a Teen Wolf Anastasia AU where an assassination attempt on the royal family (the Argents) leaves the houseboy, Scott, carrying the unconscious body of the princess into the back of a carriage and driving her away from raided castle. He tries to drive her to safety when the carriage is overturned and the princess is lost in the woods. 

Allison wakes up to find herself on the balcony of a small townhouse, a young man standing over her; his golden eyes sparkling with curiosity and worry. 

There’s something about him that seems familiar, as if she’s seen him before, but she can’t remember who he is; she can’t remember anything.

He takes her inside, gets her a change of dry clothes, runs her a bath, cooks her a meal and gets her comfortable. Finally, he introduces himself as Stiles. She goes to give him her name, but she can’t remember it.

Stiles assures her that it’s okay; her memories will return with time, and until that time she can come up with whatever name she wants and she can be whoever she wants to be.

She has nothing but the bed clothes she wore that night and a frail Faberge egg that was hidden in a small bag.

As she recovers, she has dreams of a castle, of the Faberge egg and of a family, but they quickly turn into nightmares, and when she wakes, she doesn’t remember them.

The two grow close, practically best friends, and quite often spend their days tending the farm; getting the work done twice as fast so they can run into the woods and explore or play.

One day, Allison hears a dog whimpering. She runs through the woods and finds a puppy with their leg stuck in a bear trap. Stiles helps her free the puppy and nurse it back to health. They take it to the local vet who helps them set the leg in a cast and gives them everything they need to save the puppy. 

They raise the dog and take it into the woods with them. One day, the dog starts barking and growling. Allison and Stiles go to investigate when Allison falls into a river. 

She’s struggling to swim and is swept downstream. A stranger dives in after her, pulling her ashore and sitting with her until she recovers. He introduces himself as Scott, and there’s something about him that she remembers; a strange sense of gratitude that washes over her, not only for saving her from the river but for something she doesn’t remember.

They sit on the shore and talk, finding comfort in one another. But Scott doesn’t use the name she’s given herself, he calls her Allison. She seems surprised but begins to remember. She remembers the houseboy who would move about the castle and would bow his head when she passed. She remembered wanting him to look her in the eye just once. She remembers Scott.

Stiles and the puppy catch up to them. Her memories of him return: the boy she would often see playing in the market, running around with a joyous abandon that she envied.

Scott takes them back to his place, shelter from the storm that rolls in. Once there, a portrait that sits on the mantle piece catches Allison’s eye: the familiar face of a man and a woman - her parents - and herself.

Her memories come flooding back to her. She does not rejoice over remembering, but instead cries over her the memory of the assassination attempt that killed her family.

Scott takes her into the city where everyone remembers her and she ascends to the throne, overturning the unjust politicians who rule the land. 

She takes the throne with Scott by her side (not married, but maybe they will be in the future) to help her through things and Stiles on call when she needs a friend.
