In a kingdom known as "Amalthea", there was once a Royal Family, who possesed otherwordly beauty and strange powers. But when ugly rumours and malice spread throughout the land, the populace turend on there rulers. The palace was under seige and the royals murdered. All but one, the youngest daughter, Princess Gisel. With her protectors Cael, Captain of the Royal Guard, Jasper, a mercenary, and George, a strange man with magic eyes, she does her best just to stay alive.
