1- Lexa is just short for Alexandra 2- The Y-lab twin's father, after multiple failed attempts at having kids, used the DNA of Princess Lexa and Prince Orin to create Normal Lexa and Orin, but since the technology was very early for it's time, it messed with their appearances, thus explaining why they look so different to their counterparts
