Helene was a beautiful woman who had a poor choice in men. Evelyn loves her regardless. She puts her mother on this pedestal, seeing her as an angel and the most perfect mom anyone could ask for. It’s a childish view to have of her.

Giovanni is a monster, and the cause for Evelyn’s life to turn out the way it did. She hated him for it, still does even. She could never forgive him no matter how many times he tried to apologize to her.

She considers Daxton to be her best friend, even though they don’t talk as much as they used to. They have their ups and downs but their bond is like family. They know each other better than anyone else and no one could replace that.

There are many people in her line of work that are considered enemies. The most frequent ones that reoccur are: Smog and her group Purity, Titan, and Hemlock.

When Evelyn was younger, she met a girl named Rosie at a church she went to briefly. They became fast friends and she thought it would be okay to share the fact that she was a mutant. When she showed off her powers, Rosie panicked and ran away. Later on Evelyn learned that Rosie got into a car accident, supposedly when she was running from her, and was no longer allowed to see her.

She has never met any of her grandparents and would be glad that she didn’t if she knew that they were anti-mutant.

There were never really any teachers that stood out or made any sort of impact on Evelyn’s life. She either did not stay at a school long enough to become acquainted with any teachers or she would just keep a low profile as best as she could.

Zeke was never intended to become someone she was so involved with. It just kind of happened. She loves him, but can’t stand the fact that they have polar opposite beliefs. She wants him to change because she knows that the current path he’s on will get him killed. But until he does, Evelyn pretends those bad sides of him don’t exist.

☮ for a self headcanon

For a long time Evelyn used to wear gloves to hide the scars on her hands and wrists. She was tired of people asking her what happened or not willing to touch her because of them. She has since stopped wearing the gloves and is considering on getting tattoos to cover them up.

Several years ago she was forced into a relationship by a man named David. She was finally able to escape from him when she was almost killed by her friend Daxton.
