alfred. bruce's biggest enabler, and also the source of many of bruce's character flaws. he is far more complex than the generic "perfect wonderful grandpa" stock trope.

also, for some circles of fandom, lex luthor. i think it escapes people who haven't read a lot of superman comics that he's not just a generic evil businessman. like, especially in postcrisis era. in the superfam immigrant allegory, lex luthor is the political xenophobe. it's not even subtle. he not only hates superman; he hates everything superman stands for as an immigrant. i think it makes him a fascinating and very fun villain (esp triangle era lex) but he's definitely not like. a decent person. he fucking sucks.

man sorry if this is weird but i love your art so much. i use a power chair myself and i so rarely see art of wheelchair users at all, let alone power chairs. theres something really enpowering about it, the way you put the same creativity into the design of mobility aids as you do every other part of character design. theres so much personality and it just. really hits :]

btw do you/have you ever considered selling stickers of your work? im in the process of decorating my chair (its bright pink but im adding tons of stickers) and i think itd be so cool to have stickers of your stuff on there. or pins or something for bags...

(ps part 2: i cant remember off the top of my head if youve done this style but I'd love to see your take on lightweight foldable power chairs like the fold n go or the airhawk! sorry im just a mobility aid enthusiast and my friends and i compare wheelchair models a lot for fun lol)

As for the sticker question — it is in my mind to make stickers in the future, not exactly sure when, but in the future. I have sold epoxy hanging charms / keychains before (they sold out in the first 24 hours though, so it was fast!) but I do want to do it again!

And for lightweight chairs, I think I’ve drawn a few, but not necessarily the exact models. I always want multiple types of wheelchairs and models in my art though so it will of course come up again!

since i dont have any cake to offer yet, i thought id enlist the help of my cousin @princesselise and offer a family brownie recipe just in time to bake with your loves and loved ones this ♡ filled month ^_^

Cakey Brownies

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups of flour

1/4 cup of cocoa powder

1/2 tsp of baking powder

1/2 tsp of salt

1 1/4 cups of sugar

1/2 stick of butter (softened, room temperature)

4oz of melted chocolate chips

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract (easy champ)

2 whole eggs

1 egg white from a whole egg

1/2 cup of milk

INSTRUCTIONS:

Sift dry ingredients in one bowl.

In another, cream together butter, sugar, and the melted chocolate chips with an electric mixer. Add in vanilla, eggs, and egg white one by one.

Combine dry into wet, then add the milk. Mix on medium speed for 1-2 minutes to whip in volume.

Pour into a 9 by 13 inch sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177° C) for 30-34 minutes until a toothpick comes clean when inserted. Times may vary depending on oven.

If going to frost, let them fully cool in pan until barely warm, pop out, and let cool on cooling rack. Then, while you prepare your frosting, allow to sit in refridgerator before preparing. Never frost warm!

i don't really know anything abt haikyuu beyond having a few friends that are into it but seeing you post all this stuff abt your paravolley au makes me so happy!! i personally am very into sonic and have extensive headcanons abt characters and their disabilities, so its exciting to see someone doing the same thing and also see others appreciating it!!

im also a disabled college student trying to create some type of parasports program at my school - athletics is super big here but as a wheelchair user i cant participate in any mainstream sports or clubs :( my big dream is to get para sections of some sports like fencing, archery, and ballroom dance, but there really arent enough people for big team sports like paravolley or wheelchair rugby etc... i dont rlly know where im going with this ask but sports and that community are so so important to me and it just really excites me to see others who care abt it too. i hope you have a wonderful day and get 0 weird asks or comments ever about anything ok <3
