🖤: Which character is not as morally good as everyone else seems to think?
alfred. bruce's biggest enabler, and also the source of many of bruce's character flaws. he is far more complex than the generic "perfect wonderful grandpa" stock trope.
also, for some circles of fandom, lex luthor. i think it escapes people who haven't read a lot of superman comics that he's not just a generic evil businessman. like, especially in postcrisis era. in the superfam immigrant allegory, lex luthor is the political xenophobe. it's not even subtle. he not only hates superman; he hates everything superman stands for as an immigrant. i think it makes him a fascinating and very fun villain (esp triangle era lex) but he's definitely not like. a decent person. he fucking sucks.
