Yes yes. Huey got the starter fund from the city. But he need allies and for a mean to pay off more things. Men and woman, equipment, the cops. No matter how hard he tries he seem to staying afloat only.

"I need a sponsor. Knowing my line of work someone morally bankrupt enough to not care and rich enough to support this line of work.....where the *** hell am i gonna find that?"

Huey sigh as he need to take his mind off of things. He motion his men to put out more ads as he got a alert from one of his watcher.

Couple of the street thugs in the local neighborhood planning a kidnapping on some young rich looking woman. Sure the woman might have powers BUT huey do need to advertise his business. He don't do heroic for free ALSO the bills been pretty bad latetly.

Huey normally the type to let this stuff happen and let the other heros and justice gooder handle it. Huey is....not a great person.

"Blonde Hair, teen, blah blah blah."

Huey set out. The homeless in the streets and a couple of shop owner willing to cough up certain path people take everyday for few hundred Dust as huey spotted the girl on one of the roof top.

And his kidnapper also. Four of them. All the classic tool like pistol, bag or...something don't feel right. Six sense? Something tell Huey he shouldn't do his entrance and just go home.

But the money though. Huey already got a couple of people ready to take photos and spread this online. It just be a simple clean up as Huey leap down from his position and landed between the thugs and the woman. Using powers to cushion the fall of course.

"Heya, This is the End of the Road for ya."

Perfect. He spend a couple minute practicing it as with the element of surprise he fire four shot from his tranq gun hitting all the men as he have this smug smile on him. Now he just need to turn around and....oh god damn it.

One of them wearing just enough cloths the tranq dart didn't hit as HE took Huey by surprise by not attacking him but making a mad dash toward the young lady in a attempt to take her hostage.

Huey try to fire another round but of all times his gun jam

"OI *** I'M THE ONE YA WANT."

No use. The man don't fall for the bait as Huey try to get his gun fixed before a hostage situation can happen.

she's been walking around for what she felt was hours and still all she could see were giant buildings blocking the sky. people walked around her like they were going about their day, meanwhile she was still trying to figure out just what was going on.

of all the places i could be sent why couldn't it have been a beach at least?

I probably could have come inside on my own--I had the key to her manor, and I was fairly certain I was welcome in there at any time. But something about opening those big doors and just walking in didn’t sit well with me... So there I was, with only some flowers, knocking on the door.

With the time and date set, Klaus has purchased his dual spear. It’s odd, holding another weapon other than the sword that he’s used to. After he grabs everything he needs, the dual spear, his sword just in case and a couple of snacks he shoots a text her way. ANOTHER thing foreign to him, but he doesn’t want to show up without letting Reines know that he was on his way.

And true to his words, he’s arrived at Reines Manor within 5 minutes. He’ll knock on the door gently. He should knock harder if he wants someone to hear him, but....

    a smile and small bow offered to her as he always would.     though neighbors in some way they hardly interacted with     each other, though it was no fault of either. still it would be     a wonderful time for him to catch up with her, and there was     no way for her to try and sneakily avoid him either.

They hate coming out to the Mistwood. Hate coming out to the Mistwood! It took a good deal of breathing exercises to drive all the way out here, too. Added that they didn’t exactly revel in being in Reines’ company and Trimmau made them nervous, well...

It was clearly an uncomfortable-looking empath at her front door.

She doesn’t regret coming back to work. Absolutely not, but man, every person that she saw in her peripheral vision has her thinking it’s her OH SO favorite guy. Coming into work without actually being 100% okay really may not have been the best idea, but also she didn’t want to go any longer without showing up to work. You can only make so many excuses before you run out of them, after all. 

Okay, Iss....just focus on work. You’re doing a really good job. You got this. 

She doesn’t feel like she got this, but she’s doing the best that she can. She works at the front, where she helps customers with their order and sometime, when she’s able to, she’ll help with pre-ordering as well. 

Reines, That’s the name of the person who placed an order in advance. The name sounds familiar and it only takes her but a moment to point out where she’s heard that name.

Judar. He was wondering what to get a Reines for her birthday. She never did do a followup on how that went. Damn. 

When the door opens and the little chiming of the bell rings in the air, she can only imagine the girl that walks in is Reines. “Good afternoon, welcome to Lovely Loaves. What can I get for you today?” She just has to hold off for just a few more minutes. She’s almost off the clock.
