Amira is 23 years old and has to take care of her family since her father passed away 3 years ago. Her mother suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. Amira worked as a programmer and a uni teaching assistant while pursuing a master's degree in data science. They are now in Al-Zawayda, living in a school for displaced people. They are trying to evacuate out of Gaza.

Imagine yourself in my place, watching my mother so ill, and I can’t help her. She moves between camps and shelters, barely able to walk from exhaustion. I am unable to provide her medicine.
