OWLMAN as THE OWL DEMON! So you know how Antoine is a grifter that barely set foot into Sylvain by the Time the humans attacked? Well, before ANY of that, he was a runaway Prince. Prince Stolas to be exact. A few months ago as I was researching the Owlman cryptid, my attention got diverted a bit to a certain demon. Stolas turned out to be really fascinating, and Antoine Shiels is obviously his "human" name (fun fact, he's named for Tony Shiels, the man who first offered eyewitness testimony of Owlman), so I always had it in the back of my mind that Antoine wasn't just looking back on the past he enjoyed, but ignoring the identity he didn't want. Every part of his life would have been decided for him, and he'd be told what to do for the rest of his life until he'd be old enough to tell someone else what to do. I'd rather run off and become a rockstar, too. Anyway, I'll ignore how I dragged my heels on drawing his Owl form in Time so everyone doesn't think I copied.
