Soon, the party was winding down, and as the sun began to set, people began to leave. Suddenly Tiberius heard a scream coming from the front of the house, as did others. Everyone ran around to the front of the house to see where the scream came from. When Tiberius rounded the east side of the house, he saw his grandmother and father. Aniceta was standing there screaming and Sully was being held by what appeared to be a man in a cloak and hood. Tiberius started towards the man, whom he now realized was his grandfather.
SULLY- “Tiberius, no, don’t come any closer….” his father yelled.
ULYSSES- “Listen to your father, Tiberius, the time has come for you to take your rightful place, as the Master of the Realm, and I am here to see that that happens.”
By this time the rest of the remaining guests had came around to the front of the house. Tibeius held his hand towards them to hold them back from coming closer.
TIBERIUS- “My time has not come yet, I am not ready. My mother is our leader, and will remain so until-----
ULYSSES- “NO!! You are of age, now is the time.”
TIBERIUS- “Let my father go, Ulysses, and we can discuss this.”
ULYSSES- “There will be no discussion, You will rule, and I will be your mentor, do you understand? Now is the time for the true witches to take control. Only you have the power, Tiberius, and until you are placed into your rightful throne, all those you love will die.”
With that, a cloud appeared, almost a fog and at Tiberius tried to make his way through it to get to his father, he couldn’t. It all happened in a matter of seconds, but he knew what was happening, he could feel his father’s spirit leave, and when the cloud dissipated, Sully was on the ground, lifeless. Aniceta ran to her son’s body, but it was too late. He was dead, and Ulysses was gone.
