Ian normally didn't have any spare time. There were lectures to be prepared, essays to be read, papers to be reviewed, grade to given, students to be skrewed. Yes, he found seldomnly a quiet minute, but when he did he usually lay down his couch, turned on a stupid TV show and ate pizza. Lots of pizza. He then turned off his mobile and shut down his computer.
They showed a rerun of Grey's Anatomy which he didn't like but it was serving it's purpose. He thought of calling and hooking up with some one but nobody came to mind so he sucked on his cigarette instead.
His mind went completly blank for this time and it was like a life long vacation to an lonely island for him. His cat Kim de Burg crawled onto his lap and he patted it absentmindly. Skinner, his second cat, was nowhere to be found and this insanely ugly poodle he had to keep was most likely to be plotting with the cat against him.
It was a good sunday. He felt almost at calm. Finally.
