Afternoon punting around science Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe, "Science Museum Príncipe Felipe", is part of the City of Arts and Sciences. The building is next to L'Hemisfèric. It was named for the then Crown Prince, now King Felipe VI of Spain. The building is designed resembling the skeleton of a whale. An interactive museum, it occupies 40 000 m2 over three floors, of them 26 000 m2 is science exhibitions. The building is 220 meter long, 80 meters wide and 55 meters tall. Natural lights enters the building through 4000 windows panes, a total of 20 000 m2 of glass. Like the rest of the main buildings, the architect is Santiago Calatrava. Both the museum and the cinema are situated in a shallow lake of 13 500 m2. It is possible to rent boats and punt around the buildings, like the visitiors are doing here.
