Also, everyone say hello to Printer Ink
brayer and stencil knife (to include screenprinting) turn into each other
eye-lights are based on printer/scanner buttons
gray is his neutral color instead of brown as another nod to CMYK ink cartridges instead of paint vials (that's tubing in his mouth)
scarf is ribbon cable
uses he/they/it but also uses colors as neopronouns
wearing a tablet glove, happi (kanji for ink on back) over juban, painting coveralls over tattsuke-bakama, and tengu geta (to match festival mask)
Now, to explain how Ink's paints were translated to CMYK:
Cyan is for lamentation– disappointment, fatigue, grief, hurt– magenta is for repulsion– contempt, disapproval, disgust, offense– and yellow is for gratification (appreciation, comfort, fun, satisfaction.
Red (M+Y) is for motivation– aggression, agitation, enthusiasm, tension– green (C+Y) is for interest– attachment, curiosity, desire, inspiration– and blue (C+M) is for aversion– fear, guilt, shame, worry.
Black, put simply, is for sensitivity– not just in a sympathetic sense, but also overall reactivity or situational awareness.

I'm 1000 pages into a 3000 page toner cartridge, and it's saying I have less than a third left. At current usage rates, I'll be lucky to break 1500. I'm sorry, but that does NOT round to 3000.
