That May Be an Overreaction, Bud.
Didn’t feel like drawing/animating, but I wanted to make this joke
Finally decided to be methodical in my shrink plastic journey. First you can see 2 printer maintenance pages— I finally figured out that those awful dull colors I was printing were a hardware failure actually. there was cross contamination in my magenta and yellow cartridges… That brown color is supposed to be that vibrant orange! I didn’t replace my cyan cartridge and I think I should have. I think it’s just harder to see the dark ink contamination with the cyan ink unless I have a fresh print to compare it to. But it definitely looks way too dark in the cyan and green sections of the color spectrum prints!
Colors on shrink plastic get much darker during the bake, so I decreased opacity instead of increasing brightness. (I found details get lost by cranking the brightness.) I still think it ended up pretty dark (maybe bc of ink contamination in the blue?), so I’m gonna try cranking the contrast with 70% opacity next. (I’ll replace the cyan cartridge too.)
fuck you printer!
I shall punch you in your stupid, ancient face.
I shall take you out back and shoot you like a predatory person making eyes at my family
You have one fucking job and that's to print, correctly, in the right dimensions, what I ask you to print.
So why? By all the gods and demons on this and all plains! Can you not! Print! The calibration! Sheet! In the correct! Dimensions?!
I just wanna make a funny little sign about keeping the door to our bathroom closed so the kittens don't destroy anymore toilet paper. Like, seriously. Go fuck yourself.
Pretty sure this is a tell tale sign that my printer is possessed...
