fun fact!!! rabies is NOT a prion disease and i feel like i need to say this cuz very often when i start talking abt prion diseases people ask me does rabies count as one.

rabies is not caused by prions so its not a prion disease! but i can see how someone would think that since rabies does indeed cause similar symptoms as some prion diseases..
