I said Finffa was Shieldkind, didn't I?
I guess it deserves a little explanation. The Jerran don't really like to show off their sign, so it's always a subtle pattern somewhere, hence the triangular stripes in the tree-shaped blue form. Jera is the scandinavian rune for the year cycles. Seasons, harvest, and so forth, hence the tree in Runnah's and Finffa's design. The edge is as sharp as a blade, so she uses her shield both for defense and offense. She doesn't use her battleaxe very often, but she owns with her shield. It's also pretty big, actually.
