Booker T Jones married Priscilla Coolidge in the 70s they formed a duo in which three albums are made. A departure of the Booker T’s sound and also a very pleasant one.

For those who don’t know, Priscilla was also known as Priscilla Jones or, perhaps further recognizable, Priscilla Coolidge - the sister of Rita Coolidge.

Priscilla - Gypsy Queen, 1971

Priscilla Coolidge would unfortunately have her musical career overshadowed and under credited by the facts that Rita Coolidge was her sister and that she was married to Booker T. Jones. Though her discography was not as extensive as her sister's, songs like "On the Road" from her Gypsy Queen album (produced by Booker T.) really shine a light on her vocal abilities, all while makin' you groove to some funky country rock swamp rhythm.
