prismamagical For a few hours now, Clay had been wandering around the city unsure of where to go or what to do. Given his profession, he was very smart, but when it came to directions and such, it was not his strong suit--especially in a new city like this. Yes, a city he had no recollection how he ended up here. He sighed and hung his head, “--man, now I’m starting to sound like Mr. Starbuck with that sigh.” He frowned and crossed his arms and tapped his foot. There were many options he could do, but one that kept ringing in his head made him grumble. His stubbornness would not allow him to do so, but he might have to at this rate.

His eyes wandered the area and they fell upon a young girl and he smiled. Children warmed his heart and he loved talking and interacting with them. Hell, one of these days he’d like to have one. But....that was a different story for a different day.

He took a sharp inhaled and approached her and lowered himself so he was at her level. “--He-Hey, mind telling me where a good restaurant is? You see,” he paused and felt embarrassment creep up. ‘Shake it off Clay’. With a shake of his head he gave a bright smile, “--I’m new here and I haven’t quite figured out how to navigate. So wouldya mind helping out an old fart like me, ey?”
