Journal Entry - Week One
So...Hoofsing told me that keeping this diary would be helpful. Apparently I had some sort of breakdown, but I can't remember any of it. Either way, what Hoofy says goes, so here I am, writing this.
I suppose it's not a total waste of time though. It'll give me an excuse to leave the floor when it gets boring.
I suppose I should like explain who I am and stuff for record's sake. My name is Prism Dust, and I'm an engineer at the Rainbow Factory. I'm not head engineer, but I might as well be. I'm the best engineer there. No one knows those machines like I do. I've only been working here for a few months though, so I'm sure I'll be promoted soon. Not that it'll make a difference. The other engineers are incompetent, and the ponies who work on the floor with the failures aren't much better.
The only ponies I can stand to be around are the superiors. Hide is alright, though I don't talk to him much since I'm not on his shift. But I see him in the break room and have drinks with him sometimes. ELCee I'd rather not see. She's annoying and likes to butt her nose in where she has no idea where it's going. Kuleco isn't much better, but at least he gives me my space. Most ponies give him space because they're afraid of him, but I honestly don't see it. He's a nut case, but there's no point in being afraid of him. Dusty and Clipper are Hoofsing's enforcers. They're average, and seem to make a good team. I don't talk to them, but I can spot them watching me sometimes.
Hoofsing is the one I work under. Out of all the ponies in the factory, he's the least boring. He's got cybernetic hooves that I'd love to take apart...
The factory overall is boring though. It's fun to mess with the failures and watch them suffer, but seeing them get ground into the same seven colors day in and day out while I get the same lectures about other ponies' uselessness gets old. Honestly, if I didn't like the machines so much I'd just leave.
That and teasing the stallions is always a pleasure...I think I'll go find a chump to buy me dinner.
After a long day working on end of year reports even the chaos of the breakroom is a welcome change.
Mod Question - Roleplay or Ask Blog?
So I absolutely love Prism Dust but I haven't done much with her at all. I'm not sure which direction I want to take her, so I need some advice.
I love Roleplaying, and she is a very fun character to write, so I'm wondering if it'd be fun this blog a roleplay blog. There would be reaction images drawn by me and stuff, but I am kinda worried that I wouldn't find people to roleplay with, or who roleplay in my style. Mostly the former.
The next thought is an Ask blog of her in the factory doing her thing, but I don't wanna overload myself with a million ask blogs, or have Prism die like Scribe did. Scribe isn't dead I'm reviving her.
Or maybe even like a combination of the two? Idk. I need advice. What do y'all think?
