shops for groceries: vanya probably, alfred would spend wayyy too foolhardy and would just come home with 10 packs of oreos or exclusively barbecue food. 

kills the spiders: u ever seen someone pull a glock on a spider? (jk usually alfred just smacks em with a sandal or something)

comes home drunk at 3am: both. chances are they went out together and they’re gonna come home together too (buddy system??)

makes breakfast: they’d honestly fight over this bc they both want to do it so badly. blini? pancakes? blini? pancakes? battle. they usually wind up making too much for breakfast as a result

decorates the apartment: i dont know why but my first thought was that their shared abode would have the same vibe as that of a college boy shared apartment, bare walls except for a few very disorganized posters, nothing really matches but it still feels like home, at least for a time. in terms of Who does the decoration, alfred provides the shitty posters, vanya provides some very homemade nice blankets and a few very specific ornate mirrors? odd. very chaotic
