Ok ok so the SWT is gonna want all the deets about Sokka's life changing field trip with Zuko, which is a conversation (a lot of conversations) I'm so excited for. Sokka's tangents, Zuko's general personality, the horrific details that either make them both shut down or are glossed over casually. Just *chef's kiss* these are what give me joy to think about because the angst!! The drama!! The feels!!

But anyway, ANYWAY, important desire of my soul that has been on my mind for [redacted timeframe that shows how unhealthy my attachment to this fic is] is can Sokka please please please namedrop "prison pals" when he talks about his and Zuko team up? Like, just pepper that phrase throughout his sorrid tale to the confusion of the SWT and Zuko's eternal displeasure and I will die a happy human after screaming a lot.

Sokka: our friendship started as most do, with us plotting to escape while washing dishes and ending with brutally murdering the prison warden. It was a great bonding experience. And we did it as a team. As pals.

Zuko: no, don't say it.

Sokka *gleefully*: as prison pals!

Zuko: I hate you.

I’m super excited to write more conversation between Sokka & the SWT… he just needs to chill out a bit before that can happen lol.

Idk if anything will change with Zuko’s award winning personality but maybe when he doesn’t burn anyone or light anything on fire people will begin to trust him…? Maybe? We can only hope lol.

PRISON PALS NAME DROP….. Yes. YES. yes.

It needs to happen… I might have a little something cooked up dealing with that but the way you casually dropped that dialogue has me grinning.

I can’t wait for the boys to get some alone time so they can get cozy & playfully tease one another again…

Hopefully I let that happen lol.

Hakoda: I am currently bottling up all my emotions. One day, when I can garantee the safety of the people I care about, I will properly have a breakdown and fully mourn. It's unfortunate that my son has passed away as a victim to the cruelties of this war, and I will always carry some of the blame. But what has happened happened, happened. All I can do is work on moving on. Maybe one day, our smaller family can heal from another loss.

*Cuts to sokka still alive and suffering once again*

You do this all the time and I continue to scream at the screen as if Hakoda could hear me. Sobbing. Im a wreck.
