The clock was flashing 9:37AM, the sun was peaking through the curtains, and Dove was wide awake and up before Mason; a major rarity for the couple. Not only was she awake earlier than normal she had also made breakfast and cleaned most of the house, the only explanation she could come up with for this was nerves. Today was the day of one of Mason’s fights which didn’t normally worry her except this one she was going to, which worried her immensely. “Mason... Mason wake up,” Dove whispered as she shook her sleeping boyfriend. The tiny blonde sat clad in an old shirt of Mason’s with her hair in a very messy bun still poking him to attempt to wake him.

Gabe grinned as he watched his little girl pick the flowers with her best friend. Hope looked just like him, sandy blond hair that curled at the ends and bright blue eyes. Her smile was electric, she was the only joy in his life. Her mother had had Hope with only one goal, to tie herself to the Harrison Fortune for the rest of her life. Gabe would never leave her as long as she could keep control of the 5-year-old, but one day, one day Gabe dreamed of a family that wanted him. A wife that loved him not his money, who wanted to have children, Hope was his joy and he wanted more. Even if it meant having to give Larissa her mother whatever she wanted so he could have another.

You have been the only constant thing in my life, in my world- and I mean that with every inch of power I could possibly have. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and feel as though I wasn’t meant for this life, like this isn’t where I’m supposed to be; this isn’t- wasn’t who I was supposed to be.
