Priya: Lachlan. First, I see him up at the glamping site, he's acting really weird, and then they go and find this rock with blood on it.

Robert: Yeah, well, to be fair, Priya does work up there.

Brenda: Well, what I want to know is, how do you have a murder investigation without an actual body?

Doug: Common misconception, that. You don't actually need one for an investigation. And a bloody rock buried in a plastic bag... didn't get there by itself, did it?

Priya: Well, the police are up there now, with dogs and everything.

Brenda: Looking for a body?

Priya: Mm-hm. And if it's there... well, I reckon it's only a matter of time before they find it.

Okay, so, I really don't like those cops. They were condescending and rude and Priya was right. Lachlan has a history of violent behaviour. He even went to young offender's for shooting Lawrence. How is all of that not sending off warning signs? They even caught him packing his bags to go on the run, and that excuse doesn't sound plausible at all. Why would it be scratched out if it said "king?" That's not something that would be scratched out. If something happens to Priya, that's on their incompetence.
