"It's just...weird"

“how is it weird...” the male trailed off his words as his eyes lowered down to his, now, lukewarm coffee. if he had to be honest, he didnt find being violent with his members weird—if anything it was quite normal for them to be that violent to each other. perhaps it was because many people are used to seeing members in kpop groups to be somewhat nice and caring to each other; not kicking, hitting or insulting the other members.

chanhee than brought his mug up and placed his lips on the rim of the mug before tilting it back a bit to sip on some of the liquid. once he was done, he placed the mug back down in front of him; soon letting out a chuckle. “trust me when i say that my group being violent to each other is quite normal.”

she stared at the male, then at her phone, then back at the male again. she wasn’t quite sure why he was suddenly questioning her about her sleeping cycle. she suddenly thought of some reason of it, and immediately touched her cheek with a horrified expression on her face. “why?! do I look wrinkly?? do I look tired??” she asks, very curious, her brows curling together in the middle of her forehead as she does. “I mean I didn’t even stay up that late! don’t tell me I have big eyebags again??”

"Do you have any other advice?"

Wonwoo is still mildly flabbergasted at the fact that the younger would approach him of all people for advice. True, Seventeen were no longer a rookie group and nearly two years had passed in the blink of an eye since debut. But the rapper felt like there was still a long way to go in terms of personal development in certain areas. While he was strong at certain fields, there were others which still needed patience and practice, in additional to the hours that had already been spent trying to better himself. But he was living his dream and he couldn’t lie about the fact that he woke each morning, looking forward to the events that might unfold. Back to the task at hand, a light smile graces his features while running a hand through his hair in a thoughtful manner. ❝ Don’t let your failures define you. I had a sunbae-nim tell me this, so I am passing this on to you. Remember that you were on #1 spot for at least three weeks straight so that is because you are talented. Work on your strengths, work hard and well... you would be rewarded for it. I know it’s a scary thought to think you might slip but just don’t keep dwelling on that fact, okay? ❞ He reaches out to place a gentle hand on Jihoon’s shoulder, giving him a comforting squeeze.

But when someone had grabbed the last of her long-awaited green tea biscuits, it wasn’t going to end there. They don’t call her a breadaholic for nothing. Unable to leave the conversation without her objective unfulfilled, she attempted to bargain once more. “I’ll buy it from you instead, eo? I’ll pay you 5000₩ more.”

Indeed, it had been Jihoon to approach Yoona and ask her for some “coaching”, a term that was enough to make the idol cringe. Though she did understand where it was coming from, having so much more experience than the younger boy enabled her to teach him a lot, not only about singing and dancing but also about entertaining and dealing with certain hosts and situations in general. Her ways of doing so, however, didn't seem to be appreciated.

"Listen, I know it's hard, but sometimes you need to twist things a little and make a fool out of yourself, make things funnier, so that people will be entertained and will remember you because of that. So don't already feel shy here, because I am your friend."

"You don't really have much choice."

“What do you mean I don’t have much of a choice? The life is mine, I do whatever I want and at the moment I don’t feel like getting up from this comfortable seat to buy you a coffee.” The older male answered in an extreme nonchalant tone even though he had that teasing grin stamped on his features, revealing he was only treating the other poorly to watch carefully his reaction and perhaps teach him a lesson or two about respect towards the elders. “So, looks like you don’t have much choice after all, do you Jihoon-ah? Either you spend your own money or you get nothing.” He said at last, sipping from his own cup while studying the boy’s features carefully.
