In the new avatar movie Aang seems to be wearing animal wool/fur which comes as a shock knowing his stance on all life being sacred and his no need for warmth as seen in the series. However looking more into the design I don’t think it’s ooc or going against his culture. The texture is thinner and “smaller” while the water tribes’ is more brawler and puffier. Aang’s not abandoning his culture he’s maintaining it while appreciating his partner’s heritage. More than likely this is Appa’s sheds being utilized to replicated something entirely new. (which he has done before)

Also It was never stated in the series that Aang doesn’t wear fur because of whatever reason that’s a fandom thing..

Why is NATLA literally making Aang a misogynist who treats Katara like absolute shit 😭✌️ first it was him agreeing with a sexist and telling her not to fight, now it’s him yelling in her face and blaming her for everything and even implying she’s a shitty teacher, him making jokes at her expense etc. What the hell is going on lmao, animated Aang would throw NATLA Aang through a fucking wall for talking to Katara like that. The entire cartoon, he constantly praised her, showed respect for her as his teacher, found any opportunity he could to boost her confidence, and listened to her advice. She was his trusted confidant through and through, and his best friend above all else. They’re actually making this into some “I hate my wife” bit and it’s gross. Brother eugh… eugh brother what’s that????

Hmm…there’s something to be said about the fact that the person who’s known Katara the longest (her brother Sokka) teases Katara about guys she has confirmed interest in (Jet, Aang) while people who don’t know her at all (EIP, June) think she’s involved with Zuko (and only make that assumption without ever seeing her interact with Aang).
