Oooooo I’m glad to see someone else all aboard the Starmora and Scarletvision ships. I feel like those get swept under the rug to much by the fandom. I thought both were really well done in the films. So how about 16, 19, 20 for the mcu and naruto?
Oh hell yeah, anon. Hardcore into those ships rn, and probably forever. I love both girls and want them to be happy—their bfs are cool characters too—Gamora LITERALLY has the universe’s shittiest dad and she’s still overcoming that and able to have healthy relationships, and I’ve always found Wanda a great character throughout her comic history. She’s interesting, flawed, but she tries. And Elizabeth Olsen IMO, while tackling Scarlet Witch a little differently, was still able to show her evolution over three movies. But I’m getting sidetracked. XD
16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?
Wanda would have her comic book powers. All of them. While she’s got them and she’s mentally stable, she’s been known to have reality bending powers and be able to pull off some pretty sick shit. Infinity War is finally giving her some of those powers but it’s nowhere close to all of them. And if we assume she’s still got the power to destroy Infinity Stones on top of the comic powers…with the rest of the team it’s pretty much Thanos’s ass??
With Naruto….where would I start?? There’d be no Kaguya plot twist. No reincarnation power ups…No confirmed pairings. Open-endings for everyone! Aaaand no sequel. Naruto would end with 699 chapters as it should have been. Kishimoto spat in the eyes of his fans and the eyes of the gods. lmao
19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?
For the MCU fandom I’m sure it has its flaws but as I said in the last anon ask I answered, I don’t interact with the rest of the fandom that much. I think that’s largely because I’ve learned my lesson with the Naruto fandom and seen how nasty it can get in the trenches.
Um, for Naruto I’d make it so everyone would fucking leave each other alone. It’s fine to rabidly hate a ship. No, really, it is. They’re fictional people and you can hate the ship for whatever reason, or no reason at all. Just leave real people out of it. Abusing other fans and stalking them or sending hate their way or whatever else over fictional people is moronic. Some people refuse to turn a blind eye and go as far as trolling properly tagged stuff. But it’s not even just here. Even on fanfic sharing sites you will find heathens, to borrow from Hidan, who go trolling fics that clearly state they are fics about XY pairing or character that the troll finds triggering. Like make it fucking stop. Do something productive with your life—volunteer to help the impoverished, join the Marines and be all you can be, learn to play an instrument, idk, just…stop spreading rabid hate I guess.
20. What is the purest ship in the fandom?
Maybe WandaxVision. It’s cute, idgaf what anyone says. I knew that ship would sail in the movies the minute Wanda called him “Vis” in Civil War. XD If we were talking about the Marvel comics I might have a slightly different answer to this, but for the MCU yeah I like those two.
NaruSaku is pretty pure to me. It may have its flaws to some and I’m not sure any ship is ever entirely perfect but for me, NaruSaku gets pretty close and will always have a special place in my heart.
