Why are they always forcing us to look at their stomach? Oh right, because they are likely married.
Tom/Luna She sucked on the ends of her hair and regarded him with the large grey eyes he loved and hated with equal measure.
“You really shouldn’t have done that,” She said, soft and solemn and still somehow sounding like a song, “It was really rather irresponsible.” He lowered his eyes from hers to his knuckles stained with red, unwrapping his fingers from the collar of the man and watching the body fall limp to the ground.
“It was impulsive,” He answered, a moment of startling honesty, because it had truly been reactionary, unplanned, he had only seen him and her and he saw red.
“You’ve never been impulsive before,” She said, eyes wide and inquisitive and somehow knowing, always knowing, and he wished he had the strength to tear those knowing eyes from their sockets. His fingers twitched at his side with either the urge to touch or strike and he couldn’t discern which, so he stayed as still as she was, watching her suck on the ends of her hair.
Case Over = No distractions.
