So I’ve been working on a thoughts and theories post for the new series which has taken me a long while to compose. I thought it would be a quick thing but hell nope I’ve been working on it for hours - would anyone like to see it? It still needs polishing off but if anyone is interested it’ll motivate me to finish it in advance for next Sunday!

Okay, so let’s, for a moment, shift our focus from the barefooted Vision, Wanda in bed, touching each other’s faces with soft looks in their eyes moment. Just for a bit, then we can go back to it. 

It’s already been pointed out that (see horrifying image above) this is likely the moment where Vision is hoisted into the air (presumably by Wanda) and that saves him. I 100% agree with that theory. But I realized a potential plot point coming from this. 

Not too long ago there were descriptions for Lego sets released (http://those-celestial-bodies.tumblr.com/post/167644433434/infinity-war-lego-set-descriptions). In the Wakanda Lego set it has this as part of the description: Help Shuri to remove the stone of infinity controlling the mind from the head of Vision. Can you do this before the thresher crushes the wall and destroys the diagnostic setup?

This could just be for the Lego set or, what if this hit from Corvus Glaive doesn’t get the Mindstone, but damages it instead? In the comics Corvus’ glaive can slice anything, even down to the atomic level. This means it can probably do some damage to the Mindstone. What if the damage is so extensive it starts to impact Vision’s functioning and the only way to save him is to separate him from the Mindstone? In Civil War he tells Wanda one day he hopes to control it, which could mean, among many other things, the ability to function separately from it. Based on the trailer it really feels like Wakanda is the final battle of the movie. Everyone is there (even Rhodes is flying in the background of that shot with Captain et al running) and so I would assume Wanda and Vision are there as well. Neither of them are in the big group shot of running towards the hoard of aliens. Perhaps they are tucked away trying to get the stone out. Wanda wouldn’t leave Vision at this point. That would set up a quiet tension in their scenes to juxtapose the hell outside. Can they get the Mindstone out 1. without killing Vision and 2. without destroying the stone? If anyone is going to have the capabilities to do this, especially with Vision’s extensive integration of vibranium, it would be Wakanda. Perhaps the intent is to fix the stone and give it back? 

This could also be soooooo far off it’s laughable. But there’s my first theory to throw into the mix.

Okay you know that teleporting thing Celebrimbor can do in Shadow of Mordor? Yeah I see that as a rare ability that Miriel had, and that she passed down to her descendants, it rarely actually became usable though.

Random head canon until proven wrong. After all the shit liz has pulled. And especially after next weeks ep if its going the way I think it is. (Forgiveness and blah blah blah) That Liz starts a search for the one thing Red cares for the most. His daughter. I have no doubt Red has probably already forgiven Liz but that would make up for a lot more. Or at least Liz starts to make up for, well, everything

I have this really weird headcanon

I like to imagine that the time of (or even perhaps a long time before) Arlathan, Thedas had a different name: Middle Earth. The elves ruled themselves and knew the secrets of immortatility Men were strong and united Dwarves lived, not underground, but in grand palacial cities carved into the mountains. Darkspawn were much more advanced and known as Goblins and Orcs, cunning creatures of the greatest evil. Not the seemingly senseless beasts of the Dragon Age. And before Archdemons, there were darker forces, Morgoth, Sauron, and their ilk. I don't know what happened, but the elves regressed, their kings lost to the Grey Havens or death by battle or plague. Men grew hatred for each other and all others, erecting new boundaries and seperating from each other completely. Dwarves moved underground, possibly to even further isolate and defend themselves. The orcs and goblins and creatures of the dark became mindless and more chaotic, dependent on greater leaders than they had. Idk. It's just something I think about sometimes.

Mike is 17, and so is Julie. Chuck is 16 but makes a huge thing about being 16 and a HALF, and Claire is 18, and Dutch and Texas are like 21 or so, but see Dutch is the cool older kid that's just plain cool and buys beer for their cool parties but knows when to cap them, and Texas is that really annoying guy with no friends over the age of 20 other than Dutch, but they kind of accept him because he's Dutch's friend. And Jacob is just awesome.
