I am so mad right now. And a bit anxiety triggered.
Just had an old man ringing at my door, saying he comes from the cities electricity provider and wants me to fill an application form for a lower electricity price. He said his name and had a badge but that can be fake. Maybe he was legit but I don’t trust anyone who randomly stands infront of my door and wants me to sign shit.
But he was so rude and verbally pushy. Demanded that I search the last electricity bill now because the lower price should be written on there. I was super confused because I am at a different service which is somewhat a middleman to the city service he claims to come from. So I went back in (closed the door of course) and searched the bill. I only have it as pdf on my pc and nothing is on there about a lower price... He wanted me to bring it out on my phone or tablet. I didn’t show him anything.
I told him right from the start, multiple times, that I don’t have time right now (which is a lie) but he was like “I know we all don’t have time. We could have been done already! It would just be 5 minutes to fill the form.”
Well and then I told him off after he got that rude to blame it on me that I don’t have the bill ready to show him! Like dude shows up unannounced and wants me to just show him personal information at the door?! He got mad and finally walked out with a “Well congratulations to the next price enhancement then!”
Wrote an E-mail to the company he claimed to be from and asked them if he was seriously an employee from them or not.
