Sigh, not doing homework again...

Opinions are meant to be judged. People who are heavily opinionated are always directly judged by what they say and that gives them their opinion of their personality. You can agree with these opinionated people and realize how similar you are to them, or you can reject them and therefore judging them forever based on their statements. What's frustrating about opinions is the complications and issues that can arise from them. They force people against each other, they force people apart and they refuse to change their mindsets. I'm not quite sure with where I'm going with this but here's the thing.

You can't expect someone to change their mind if you don't respect their opinions. And by respecting. You have to understand what they're coming from and this being said for both sides of an opinion. You don't need a complete understanding of what the other person knows or feels, you just need to get the jist of it because really? Whose going to understand every single thought that goes through another person's head? You can respect somebody's opinion without agreeing with it. You can argue with it, you can do anything you want, but you have to first respect it. Respect needs to come from both sides for anything positive to happen. You can't argue with someone who refuses to respect anything you have to say.
