Thinking about the way Morgan and Serra’s pop culture references vary so strongly.

Morgan’s are subtle, often it feels like if someone wasn’t aware it was a reference it could slide by as just another part of the conversation. “It’s even got a watermark” doesn’t come with any break in the game’s music, or special sound effect, and notably Morgan doesn’t even actually say it out loud.

Meanwhile Serra’s are extremely blatant, often being shoe horned into conversations and often with an expectant pause for laughter added on. The music stops, the desk slam sfx plays, Serra does her proud sparkly eyed sprite.

Something something, the stark duality between masking and non-masking neurodivergence being used to further emphasize parallels between Morgan and Serra through the use of comedy.

Nerd talk

Alright, I've been a huge fan of Plance or Pidgance since the beginning of this show when it first aired. I lost faith for a while there, but rewatching it and the new seasons, I can see all these great hints at Plance

Take for instance S4, E6. There is one of those cut scenes where it shows them in their lions. It shows Pidge and Lance, then cuts to Allura and Hunk. Why that? It could have just as easily been Hunk and Pidge, they are closer and know each other better.

Allura and Hunk haven't spent any real time together. It begs to question: why Lance and Pidge? Then almost immediately after, Lance says "Pidge, plot us a course to get out of here!"

I guess Pidge is kinda the navigator. However, Shiro can do it too, and I'm sure Allura as well. Once again, why Pidge? Lance is always leaning on Pidge in those strange little moments and I'm living for it, honestly.

I'm going to keep posting about this stuff so if you don't want to see my crazy talk, you can just ignore me.

repete something like “what do I want to do” and then dissolve into sounds and “uhhh” sound in throat for background noise

used to do this laying down kicking thing a lot or “spasming” limbs. That sounds weird but idk what to call it.

The fact that a lot of these are “weird” and I wouldn’t want people to know I do makes me think it’s actually masked stims & not just typical fidgets. Also, I mostly do them at home and most are really automatic & I didn’t notice myself doing until I tried to notice. Then, suddenly saw constantly.
