I often think about how adult stories should also be able to be called coming of age. Why does it stop in your late teens? I get it's supposed to mean becoming an adult. But. Aren't we all... All of us also coming of age forever. Regardless of being 12, 16, 23, 31, or, 45, etc. I think adults should get to have coming of age stories to relate to, as well.
#of course most of us past#teenage and 20's can#probably relate#to any coming of age#for teens#but I mean#where's the support for the 25 yr old#who's brain is finally developing fully#if the 32 yr old#who has a fully developed brain#and still feels behind#and not just in regards to love#in life in general#me
