Make a Vampire character who just really sucks at hiding the fact that they're a vampire. Like it's really fucking obvious dude, no one is being fooled here, you look like one those feratu.

Eldrin had been wandering the city for a few hours, not looking for anything in particular, simply enjoying the night air. Just as she was headed to the subway, she heard a scuffle in the alley to her right. Quickly palming the knife she keeps hidden in her sleeve lining, she turned into the tight space and saw a woman, obviously intoxicated by the way she was swaying, fighting off a man. Perhaps he had been her date, or maybe he was a stranger looking to take advantage of a woman who could barely stand, let alone fight back. Approaching as silent as a cat, Eldrin came up behind the man, who towered above both her and the woman he was harassing, and tapped his shoulder.
“Wha the f-” he jumped in surprise.
“Excuse me,” she said, looking up at him in the pale light of the nearby street lamps, “but I think you’d better back off.”
“Yeah? An’ who da fuck are you to tell me what ta do?”
“God why are humans always so set on doing things the hard way?”
The fight was not a problem for her, with lightning quick reflexes and knife in hand, she slashed the man’s cheek and pushed him to the side, leaving him scrambling in a pile of trash. Before he could regain his footing, Eldrin had already escorted the woman out of the alleyway and was hailing a cab for her.
As she watched the woman leave she realized the sky was turning a light pink and she was going to have to hurry if she wanted to make it home before sunrise. Speeding to the nearest subway entrance, she entered into the tunnel that would lead her home. Looking around to make sure no one was watching, she slipped into a supply closet, and whispered a word in a long dead language. As her catlike eyes adjusted to the dark, a pathway opened up leading deep below the subway station.
As she entered into the large cavern that was the main area of their home, her companion, Leyla, ran up to her.
“Do you know how late it is? I thought you were going to get stuck out there! You really need to pay closer attention to the time!” She pestered while still going to embrace Eldrin in a warm hug.
“Sorry, sorry, I had to help a woman get home safe.” Eldrin replied as she pulled away from Leyla’s hug. “Come on let’s get to bed, you’ve probably been up for a while waiting for me, huh?” and she pulled her into their quarters.
They fell asleep, arms intertwined, under a pile of blankets to keep them warm, and as the sun rose over New York, Eldrin was safe in the protection of their hideaway, and her best friend’s embrace.
