Tablets
I have tried two types of tablets to combat my sweating. This is something that definitely needs to be discussed with a doctor but of course I shall share my experience anywhoo.
I have been prescribed with Pro Banthine Bromide 15mg tablets (aka Propantheline Bromide and all these other fancy names there are so many). I think this tablet is actually also helpful for urinary problems, excessive urinating possibly? I’m not sure. These tablets I used to take first thing in the morning and one before lunch. You are suppost to take these on an empty stomach however this gave me a horridly dry mouth and I would have to sip water while eating and carry water with me everywhere and my throat would go croaky when I talk :::((((
I changed my habits to having one after breakfast, generally after I’d eaten. I’m not sure if this makes it less effective but it doesn’t seem to. I find this tablet helps my body overall to control the amount I sweat however I have to up the dosage during the summer (after consulting the doctah to check I could). I usually take about 4-6 a day in the summer, 1-2 about 10 minutes after each meal.
I also tried oxybutynin but this didn’t work as well for me. :) x
P.s$$$$$ I'm not sure how these tablets work, I apologise for my lack of brain juice on this- I have been told but I forgots
