I start a new job Monday and there’s lots of online training and introductions and I don’t know whether I will be good at it, and involves a lot of phone calls which really scares me and honestly it’s 3am and I can’t sleep because I just feel constantly anxious and sick to my stomach at the thought of starting this job. But it’s more money and good experience going forward but I’m just so anxious. Like I can’t relax or do anything without the fear being there. 😭🤢

Also lately i’ve had ideas that draw heavily from dnd related material which would be great if i were gonna actually play dnd but im not and i sort of feel.... unoriginal working with this stuff? like obviously dnd doesnt own orcs and i can do whatever i want but also i kind of like the idea of working in a fantasy setting without doing a bunch of worldbuilding.

like.. dont get me wrong, the worldbuilding is one of my absolute favorite parts of writing and especially of the project i’m working on, but it also means that i end up getting so involved in the world that i dont just get to do silly things with the characters. (and also i’m.... narrowing down the plot to make it vaguely novel-shaped, which means there’s even less playing around.) but its so nice sometimes to be ABLE to just play around but it makes me feel... idk. i know it will bother me to have worldbuilding inconsistencies in a more carefree For Fun world. its hard to just have fun! idk why. my brain is very caught up in the need to be productive at all times
