After all the warnings and countless reminders of the do’s and don’ts before boarding, this is not a mistake but a dumb move on G’s part. He could have done it before he boarde as there are regulated smoking areas. Vaping is against airline regulations primarily for safety, security and health considerations. What if it triggered panic? What if it caused inconvenience or allergic reactions thus becoming a health hazard? The flight could have been diverted and/or made an emergency landing because of the smoke? Or worst, though rare but it does happen, the pen explodes? No one should be above clearly stipulated regulations that jeopardizes the safety, security, health care and convenience of the other paying passengers and crew, on any aircraft, still on land or in flight. He should have been arrested because he cannot deny he was clearly warned.🙄
