do you think becho will break up soon? so many people say that they're doomed, their relationship won't last but I don't see a breakup coming at all. they are SO in love and bellamy is all about echo and I don't want them to end

all bellarke hopes and meta aside, it doesn’t look like that right now, you’re right.

every new episode we get only seems to strenghten the bond we see between bellamy and echo, be it romantically, sexually or emotionally. and it makes me doubt too. I’ve been guilty of the doom thinking and I still kinda am (that’s my bellarke heart speaking), but the writers always find a way to surprise us so I wouldn’t hold it against them to defy all odds and keep becho canon this season.

I don’t want their relationship to end either. if I were a casual viewer, I would love it if bellamy and echo stayed together, because they are adorable and I love them so much together. buuuuuut I’m part of the fandom online and tbh it would suck to see the desparation in my bellarke fam. plus I’m continuously influenced and dragged back by their meta (and feels). 

I’m so conflicted for what I want to happen. as for what will happen, I don’t know. I couldn’t have predicted any of the past episodes, let alone the future ones. we know this though

and it might be connected to a breakup, but also to something completely else. I guess we’ll have to see for ourselves, but in the meantime we can only enjoy all the amazing becho content we get (sooooo much more than expected, I’m living for it). <3

In terms of romantic partnership who, if anyone, would you want to see Echo with?

difficult question! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but I love the idea of asexual Echo, but that doesn’t mean she can’t or shouldn’t be in a romantical relationship with someone. and I really want her to be loved.

the tiny moments we already saw between her and bellamy were beautiful, and I hate that we know they won’t last. and while I like for example the thought of echo x raven in au’s, in canon it just doesn’t work for me.

I think the problem for me personally is that I haven’t seen enough of our ‘new’ echo, the echo that changed in those six years, that grew to be her own person instead of someone else’s. there isn’t really anyone we know, who knows her, except for spacekru. echo x bellamy is adorable and I just wish bellarke wasn’t a thing because echo needs that love. echo x raven doesn’t really work for me, harper or monty neither, nor murphy or emori.

so like, ideally I want her to be with bellamy, not to be hurt too much by the breakup who am I kidding it’s gonna hurt, and then be her own person for a while. learning her place in a new world, learning herself, what she needs, who she wants to share her life with. and then I want her to grow in love with someone who will comb through her hair at night and place lazy kisses on her collarbones, who tickles her and makes her laugh, who comforts her in those moments when old memories come back unwanted. someone she can excercise with, clashing swords and sweat and aching muscles, but just as much cook dinner with together. okay I’m gonna stop because I’m full of emotions ugh

Echo loving her friends may be a highlight of the new season

On that same interview you posted, Tasya says for the first time, Echo didn't feel used. Do you think there's any possibility of scenario where SpaceKru (or Bellamy, more specifically) act like she's just an Azgeda member or she only mattered in space? I'm really having thoughts about it, can't deal with her being isolated again.

well, first of all, that would be really cruel. 

I refuse to believe that the people she has lived together with for over six year would just drop her and act like none of the stuff they lived through together happened. their emotional bond can not be underestimated, especially the bond between echo and bellamy. it’s something the fandom often overlooks. spacekru won’t abandon echo just like that. she’s one of them now, plus it’s not like she was the only grounder with all spacekru members.

what I do think is possible to happen, is that echo will have this mindset herself. that she’s just an azgeda member after all, that she doesn’t belong anymore, that everything that happened in space didn’t matter anyway, and that she will distance herself. echo has never always been the best at emotions (I don’t blame her though), and it is true, things will change on the ground.

either way I don’t want her being alone again. echo deserves a family

[There’s] a private moment where she’s sitting in the snow and she’s playing with the snow and digesting everything that’s happened. It’s a really sweet moment that she’s looking at the snow and thinking about Azgeda and where she’s been, what she’s gone through, and that whole episode is just beautiful.
