ok i haven’t done one yet so here’s a lesson on spirits and demons from me, your friendly local witch and exorcist

there are several types of spirits! some never had a body and are tied to the land (nature spirits and the like) these are fine to talk to usually. just use caution

however spirits who had a body now exist in sort of a limbo state. as time goes on they lose themselves more and more and become single minded in the pursuit of finding a body to inhabit.

where do they get a body? from idiots who think its fun to summon spirits! yes, that’s right, kids, through no fault of your own, 90% of spirits you summon want you out of your body so they can have it. sure, there are rites and precautions, but don’t risk it. 

now then. demons. demons are different. they dont want your body, they want your soul. more to the point, they are expert tricksters and use any means necessary to get you to essentially sign over your soul to them. and sure, you might get a sweet mortal existence out of it, but it’s usually something that turns sour as time goes on

what do they want your soul for? power. that’s about it. all deities want souls signed over to them for power, but some (read: gods) are a lot better about keeping them

as for summoning satan, don’t even try. this guy goes where he wants, and usually only appears when black magic witches summon him (because power!)

anyway. demons and spirits can both fuck your life up, don’t summon them. just do not do it at all. ever.

like, do i understand what “cheeky nandos” means? well, ive never rly heard anyone specifically say “cheeky nandos”, so it’s possible that theres some british thing im missing here, but if there isnt i understand what it means i guess.

its like, ur saying that something about the fact ur going to eat at nandos is cheeky. there are a lot of things related to eating food that u could consider “cheeky”, so i guess there isnt rly a specific definition for what saying going for a cheeky *insert food here* means... but an example is like, idk, maybe ur like “do u wanna just get something to eat when we get home?” and then ur buddy is like “nah, lets go for a cheeky nandos” if um, that makes sense??? like they could just get food at home, but theyre being a bit cheeky and treating themselves to nandos.....

unless ive missed something of course...but thats the kind of context ive seen “cheeky *insert food here*” used in here haha
