man, i really want to watch the mindy project now because of you but i honestly have no idea what it's about! so now i'm curious of what would you say it's about?

YOU SHOULD WATCH IT!!!

okay, now that i've got that out of my system, i'm so glad my obsession has actually swayed you to want to watch tmp! and well, the mindy project is technically about a 30-something OB/GYN who's trying to sort out her mess of a love life while balancing her career and her relationships with her colleagues. 

BUT REALLY, it's all about mindy kaling's unique (and uber-relatable) take on things ("do you know that in my will, i leave all of my money to tina fey? i don't even know her! i just think that she would spend it in an interesting and responsible way.") and mindy's relationship with danny castellano (her handsome jerk of a colleague that she starts out hating but grows to like and respect AND ISN'T THERE SO MUCH SHIPPING POTENTIAL THERE). 

tbh, the show itself can be a little underwhelming at times, but it really has potential that shines through in certain lines or certain character moments. and if you're a fan of mindy kaling at all, it's a must-watch.
