Tip to making friends online: If you wanna talk to someone, don't just say "I wanna talk to you". Actually start a convo. It's pretty tough to follow up that kinda comment. "I wanna be your friend"/"be my friend?" is tough to follow up as well so just talk to them and become friends. I've been guilty of typing those to people and it didn't go anywhere. But when I'd start a friendly conversation, we became friends. It's not too difficult. If you can't think of something to say, check their latest text post and start communication based off of it.
