Disagreeing with the system: good

Criticizing the system: good

Protesting the system: good

Deciding you hate everything about the system and choosing to operate outside of it: cool as an act of protest but not viable as a way to affect institutional change.

I love the passion I see so many young people exhibiting for politics rn but there is an absolute lack of pragmatism present in mass portions of the electorate - you have to work a system to correct its flaws unless you can convince a vast majority of people to tear it down and start over... which means not the american electorate at this time
