Pen Tops by David Hayward and DDQ Design

“A place to rest your pen”

Collaborative project with established British designer David Hayward, who specialises in bespoke writing instruments and other metal goods. After originally training as a silversmith, he has worked and taught all over the world.

A result of meeting on a trade mission to China in late 2012, this simple tool is an amalgamation of Danny’s spinning tops and David’s pens, or more specifically, their ‘holders’ for when not in use.
