Products, Services & Systems
SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES ACQUIRED After this learning unit, I have now a better idea of how PSS are interrelated and how each plays a major role for the other. I see the system as an umbrella governing products and services under it. The design tool that I practiced was service blueprint. Service blueprint is an operational planning tool used for service innovation.
Working with other talented minds on the same projects teaches a lot of values such as teamwork, resolving conflicts, and working overtime to complete projects. While working on various different assignments, I decided to push myself and do a little more than expected. That is when I finally got to know the basic functions of Photoshop. This tool will certainly come in handy for me in the future.
I was once told by someone, ‘If u cannot use Photoshop or Illustrator, you are not worthy of calling yourself a designer!’
Looking at all the events around me with a different perspective is the most important thing I have achieved. Questioning ‘what-if’ to everything helps see everything with a new perspective. This also includes being able to ask questions in class, which I hesitated to do before.
