What is the character’s favourite food?

Surprisingly, he loves soup.  A tomato basil bisque ranks among his favorites, seconded only by a nice steak, medium-rare, with a little salt and pepper.  Surprisingly simple for a man like Rab.

Are they good at cooking? How good/bad?

Rab has grown strangely attached to cooking.  He doesn’t let his elf near the kitchen unless he has to.  Though he knows the elf will put everything back in it’s proper place, there’s something calming in the ritual of cooking that he enjoys.  In a place that usually lacks precision, he employs it.

Do they leave the dishes out?

No. He would never.  Even the thought ruffles his feathers.  Everything has a place for a reason.

What kind of food is in their refridgerator?

Lots of vegetables for cooking.  Some fresh herbs.  There’s a bit of meat and fish for when he’s feeling festive too.

Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?

He cooks.  He doesn’t care for delivery, and while he will eat out, the hours he keeps at the office are usually such that he cooks when he can because he prefers it.

Living Room:

How does the character spend weekends?

Generally, he’ll sit with a book, maybe a sketch book or his piano.  It’s usually one of the three.  When he’s on holiday, he loves to hunt, both animals and... well, yeah.

What kind of movies does the character watch?

He doesn’t. (If he did, I imagine he would watch old noir movies with the well-dressed gentlemen for inspiration).

What do they do with friends?

Does hunting, maiming and killing count?

What’s their favourite pasttime?

He likes going to see foreign plays.

How does the character prepare in the morning?

Impeccably. He has a routine that he does not like interrupted, from his morning shower straight to the normal eggs on toast breakfast he has.

If asked, he would deny it, but I firmly believe that he hums opera in the shower.

What kind of hair product/make-up do they use?

Slight amounts of hair gel/whatever potion equivalent.

How clean is this character?

Very.

Does the character have thousands of shampoo/shower gel bottles by the shower, or do they use only the bare essentials?

He has quite the supply of shampoos and shower gels.

Bedroom:

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)

Generally, Rabastan sleeps without a shirt, either lying on his back or his side.  His wand is either on his nightside table or under his pillow for safety’s sake.  Before bed, he typically brushes his teeth and washes the day off of his face before getting into his pajamas and reading.

What are their pyjamas like?

Regular pajama/sweat pants?

What do they dream about usually?

He dreams about any number of things, from memories, to Alecto, to finally getting his parents approval and winning over his brother.

How neat/tidy is this character?

Very.  So much so, he probably has some sort of issue in his obsessive need for order and control.

How affectionate is this character?

With most people, he’s not at all.  With certain few exceptions (Isabella, when he’s drunk with Amycus, Alecto), Rab will seem completely put together, cold and calculating, all the way.

Attic:

What is the character afraid of?

He’s afraid of never amounting to what he think he should.  He has extremely high ambitions for himself, as a result of being invisible for so much of his life.  He wants to prove that other people were mistaken in overlooking him as a spare, but he’s terrified that that will never happen.  That he is just a spare.

How do they deal with bad memories?

He goes and kills someone usually.  Totally SUPER healthy.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie?

He’s the killer.

How do they hide their secrets?

Easily and efficiently.  From each victim he takes a trophy and hides it in a box, in a hollowed out book.  The storage itself is in a secret compartment in one of his library shelves.  Only his elf and him know currently that it is there.

Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?

Likely Pride.  Maybe Greed.

Does alcohol count?  I jest… mostly. Isabella, for unfathomable reasons, has just answered “breakfast!” so I’m assuming she’s the type to eat breakfast at all hours.  As to what her favorite food is, I believe it would be waffles topped with ice cream and whipped cream.  She’s a true adult.

Are they good at cooking? How good/bad?

She’s fair.  It’s one of those things she’s always wanted to get better at.  She can cook basic things, like roasted vegetables (rare), macaroni and cheese, omlettes, and of course, pancakes.

Do they leave the dishes out?

Yes.

What kind of food is in their refridgerator?

She keeps a lot of leftovers in her fridge, actually, mostly from nights when she didn’t want to cook.

Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?

She gets take-out/food delivered mostly.

Living Room:

How does the character spend weekends?

It depends on how she’s feeling. Sometimes, usually on rainy days, she’ll be so tired of people that she wants nothing more than to sit inside with tea and paint or read. Other times, she’ll want to party.

What kind of movies does the character watch?

I see her as the closet romantic type, but she’d be super open about loving action and comic book movies.

What do they do with friends?

Drink, really.  Or hang out/talk.  I don’t really know actually.

What’s their favourite pasttime?

Painting or writing.  She leans more towards painting though.  As much as she loves writing, communicating has never come easy to her while painting or sketching really has.

What’s their favourite TV show/Film?

Difficult… I think she’d like Psycho though?

How does the character prepare in the morning?

She makes coffee in the morning and while it’s brewing she starts to get ready.  She typically brushes out her hair with a brush of her mother’s before putting on her make-up (typically consisting of some form of smoky eye and bright, usually red, lipstick).  

Do they sing in the shower?

She is so guilty of this.  She is a shower ROCKER.

What kind of hair product/make-up do they use?

She doesn’t use much make-up, relying on eyeliner and shimmery eyeshadow to get the smoky eye and lipstick to top off her look.

How clean is this character?

Not very?  Isabella is the queen of messy buns and second-day make-up.  She wears clothes multiple days in a row because she can’t be assed to do laundry.

Does the character have thousands of shampoo/shower gel bottles by the shower, or do they use only the bare essentials?

She more or less uses the bare essentials.

Bedroom:

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)

Isabella curls up into a ball, as if she can’t get warm herself.  In part, this comes from when she was younger when she slept with only one blanket, and from trying to make herself as small as she could if her father was home.  Generally, she’ll go to sleep pretty late and sleep in as well.  In terms of bedtime routines, she doesn’t do much “routinely” ha.

What are their pyjamas like?

Old tee-shirts and shorts are her go to.  Or sometimes just old boys tee shirts that she swims in.

What do they dream about usually?

Nightmares about her father, usually.  Watching her brother leave. 

How neat/tidy is this character?

LOL - not really at all. At any given moment, her hands are smeared with paint or charcoal that hasn’t completely washed off, her living room couch is a closet and her floor is half-made up of pillows.

How affectionate is this character?

In general, not very.  To the people that she loves and cares about, though, very. If she’s comfortable around you, she’ll have no problem touching you.

What is the character afraid of?

Her father, dead or not.  People finding out that she’s not as happy as she pretends to be.

How do they deal with bad memories?

Isabella deals with bad memories the same way she deals with emotions.  She gets angry.  She processes most things through anger.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie?

She’s the one you root for, the one you think will win before they die.

How do they hide their secrets?

She doesn’t really. Her secrets eat away at her until she finally has to tell someone.

What is the character’s favourite food?

Narcissa doesn’t have a favorite food per se but she does have a lot of favorite pastries.  Some of those include St. Honoré’s, Sachertortes, Religieuses, and Eton Mess cakes.

Are they good at cooking? How good/bad?

As she’s never really had to cook or even tried to cook, she’s not very good.  In fact, if she tried, I think she would be lost between measurements and the differences in ingredients like baking powder and baking soda.

Do they leave the dishes out?

She does - that’s what House Elves are for.

What kind of food is in their refridgerator?

She has no earthly idea.  If I had to hazard a guess, I would say lots of fresh vegetables from farmers markets and a lot of herbs.  She would have a lot better luck telling you what was in her greenhouse and her (poison) garden though.

Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?

She loves dining out with Lucius.  Seeing him after work, or even meeting him after work is always a highlight of her day.  Otherwise, the two of them would just have the elves cook them something, I imagine.

Living Room:

How does the character spend weekends?

She enjoys reading a lot. There is very little she doesn’t want to learn so she can easily spend hours in the Malfoy family library. Otherwise, she might dabble in painting or piano, both of which are skills she learned in childhood. She maintains the greenhouse and poison garden herself and keeps them warded so that none but she and Lucius can enter.

What kind of movies does the character watch?

She doesn’t, but if she did I imagine her as a classic film girl?  So Casablanca or Gone with the Wind type.  I think she would like Scarlett a lot.

What do they do with friends?

She doesn’t have many true friends, but often she has teas to which they’re invited, otherwise with the few good friends she does have, she will go shopping.

What’s their favourite pasttime?

Dancing.  Ever since she was young, she’s been in love with ballet.  Though she hasn’t danced recently, she used to be quite good and if she hadn’t married Lucius, she might have even entertained the idea of becoming a professional.  After dancing probably comes learning, and after that, she will never say no to a good Beethoven record.

What’s their favourite TV show/Film?

I’d refer you to the answer about movies, but in place I decided to answer/clarify something.  As much as Narcissa hates Muggle culture, she loves going to places like the Opera, ballet or Philharmonic.  She has a special box, separate from any Muggles.  It’s high culture, that she actually regards too sophisticated for Muggle trash, and that’s the only reason she can tolerate going.  So those are the things she loves to watch.

Bathroom:

How does the character prepare in the morning?

It’s extensive.  After she wakes up she brushes her hair out with a hundred strokes and then pulls it back to wash her face and moisturizing.  After, she’ll put her hair back down, running a little concoction of hair potions through it to ensure that it remains shiny, frizz-free and without split ends.  After that, she’ll style it depending on her mood/occasion.  Her make up is simple and elegant.

Do they sing in the shower?

Most of what she “sings” doesn’t have lyrics unless it’s from an opera so I would say that she more hums than sings.

What kind of hair product/make-up do they use?

She uses quite a few hair products to ensure, at its length that it remains breakage free and healthy.  As for make-up, she has a pale but clear complexion so really bases her make-up with a simple primer before putting on a light pink shade of blush and simple black eyeliner. It’s nothing too noticeable, only enough to enhance the light shade of blue in her eyes.

How clean is this character?

Very much so. In terms of how clean her appearance is, she’s very aware that most of her marketability/image is built on her appearance.  She knows that people hardly care to look beyond the surface, especially for Pureblooded women like herself who are supposed to only really have “one duty”.  She plays to images, to what other people expect of her, knowing that they would hardly care to look beneath to find that there was so, so much more.  

In terms of how she likes her house kept, the places/things she uses like her vanity alternate between unkept and organized depending on her state of mind/mood.

She’s Narcissa Malfoy - take a guess.

Bedroom:

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines)

In terms of position, she kind of naturally gravitates towards little spoon.  She’s small to begin with and has a tendency to curl up on her side when she sleeps.  As far as sleeping habits goes, she’s a night owl through and through though she does hate sleeping past a certain point.  She likes to make the most of the time she has, but often loses track of it at night when she’s reading.  As far as bedtime routines, hers is fairly simple. She’ll settle down with a cup of tea, a record, and a good book before brushing her teeth and hair, and washing her face clean of the make-up and the day.  Occasionally, on good days, Lucius will even brush her hair for her, an intimate occasion, as she lets very few touch her hair. Once in bed, she’ll continue her book for a little while longer before falling asleep.

What are their pyjamas like?

I imagine her very much as the type to wear silken nightgowns and chemises.  Not even the “sultry sexy” type but the classy lace types?  Other times, she’ll sleep in something of Lucius’, like one of his pajama tops (likely also silk, lbr).

What do they dream about usually?

The only dreams she remembers are her nightmares, which are far too recurring for her to admit to.

How affectionate is this character?

She’s affectionate to precious few.  Bella would be in there, as would Lucius but only on certain occasions.  With Lucius, much of her interaction is under the surface, things known only to them.  She’s a private person by nature.

Attic:

What is the character afraid of?

She’s afraid of people realizing how insecure she actually is, of using that against her.  She’s afraid of people knowing her flaws, knowing that she’s not perfect.  She’s terrified that her own flaws, her imperfections will cause the people she loves (namely Lucius) to leave her with nothing.  She doesn’t want to be alone.

How do they deal with bad memories?

Over the course of her life, Narcissa has developed many negative coping mechanisms for both bad memories and the emotions they bring up.  In general, Narcissa will push the memory aside in favor of focusing on something - a task that needs doing, sometihng that needs fixing.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie?

I see her very much as the pretty cheerleader who everyone thinks will be the first to die, but actually has the ingenuity/luck to be the last/survive.

How do they hide their secrets?

Very well.  She knows how to use words to her advantage - to distract, to manipulate their view, and misdirect.  She hides her secret through those methods and masks that she’s cultivated and perfected throughout most of her life.

Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?

Almost definitely envy.

Setting this around the general time of end of 1979/start of 1980 this means pre-Carrow-rampage, because that’s kinda my default time period when I think of William and he does change  a bit over the years.

Kitchen:

What is the character’s favourite food?: His gran’s homemade pumpkin pasties. They were alway a special treat and nothing else ever tastes quite the same.

Are they good at cooking? How good/bad?: He can make reasonable food - wouldn’t win a Masterchef competition, but he was taught how to do all the stuff he couldn’t rely on someone else doing all his life. He tends to stick to simple things most of the time but if it’s a special occasion he can pull together something quite nice.

Do they leave the dishes out?: He tends to have them wash themselves and leave the clean stuff stacked on the draining board. :P

What kind of food is in their refrigerator?: The necessities, generally - nothing very expensive, good, easy-to-cook filling stuff. He needs a lotta fuel doing double duty for the Auror Office and the Order.

Do they cook, eat out or get take-away/delivered food more?: He cooks most nights. If he’s really exhausted he’ll possibly get a takeaway on the way home.

Living Room:

How does the character spend weekends?: If he has any free time at all, he’ll often curl up at home reading, or go talk one of his friends - or his girlfriend, the lovely Emmeline Vance - into something relaxing, like a walk in the park.

What kind of movies does the character watch?: He’s not really got much time for movies, but if it’s something hugely popular he’ll probably go and at least take a look at it.

What do they do with friends?: Talk, relax, and fight evil. (that’s not a joke pretty much all of his friends are Order of the Phoenix)

What’s their favourite pastime?: Reading. His home is practically wallpapered with bookshelves.

What’s their favourite TV show/Film?: No comment? He doesn’t really have one.

How does the character prepare in the morning?: He makes sure he and his clothes are acceptably clean, and that he’s shaved, and that’s about it. Rumpled is fine. XD

Do they sing in the shower?: Sometimes? He’s not really much of a sing-along type.

What kind of hair product/make-up do they use?: He has a small bottle of Sleekeazy’s Hair Potion for very special occasions. Beyond that he doesn’t really care what he looks like. :P

How clean is this character?: He’s quite clean. Not spotless, because hey, he’s a nineteen-year-old living on his own and working his ass off. He’s untidy, and his clothes are usually inkstained, but he’s not dirty.

Bedroom:

How does this character sleep? (Position, sleeping habits, bedtime routines): Generally if he’s alone he’ll secure the flat, chuck his clothes aside, and just flop into bed on his side, head resting on his arm. If he’s spending the night with Emmeline they’ll generally end up curled around each other instead.

What are their pyjamas like?: Plain flannel and cotton, not really used very much because he tends to sleep in his underwear.

What do they dream about usually?: Not much. Weird arguments or duels sometimes.

How neat/tidy is this character?: Pffffhahahahaha he practically has his own mystic aura of untidiness. His living room has papers and books everywhere, his laundry basket looks very lonely more often than not because it’s surrounded with the clothes that should be in it, and he knows what an iron is in theory only. XD

How affectionate is this character?: Very. He’s not afraid to offer hugs in greeting or sympathy, and generally has no aversion to physical contact. He’s very caring generally and tries to help his friends as much as he can.

Attic:

What is the character afraid of?: Loss, mainly. He’s afraid of losing everyone else in his life the way he lost his parents and will do anything to protect them and Amycus Carrow fucks him over so bad because of this the lil shit. He’s also not very fond of heights, and hates flying.

How do they deal with bad memories?: Depending on how bad they are, he can often push them aside and get on with things, but the worst ones, if they hit, can push him to need a time-out while he pulls himself together.

What is this character’s role in a horror movie?: The smart one who tries to keep everyone calm, keep the party together, and figure out what they’re facing.

How do they hide their secrets?: He doesn’t really have anything he feels needs hiding. He doesn’t tell everything to everyone, but he doesn’t have anything that needs burying.

Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?: Probably Wrath, oddly enough. He’s angrier than he acts, most of the time - angry at a world that’s so keen on hurting innocent people, that lets it keep happening, and enables the bullies more than the victims. He just channels that wrath into his work as much as he can.
