*PROF has a soft spot for Pom but doesn' wanna open up ta her too much. He's scared of lettin too many people see how fucked up his life is
Pom sighs, understanding. "Prof, do you even take breaks? Like, serious breaks? No work?" She asks, taking a bite out of her own lunch. "It's just.. you look really tired and.. I get quite worried" she murmurs
Prof: yeah. take em from here to the drive back to my place.
*PROF finishes his sandwich and gets up, gathering his papers
Prof: talk to you later Pom.
Pom raises an eyebrow. "Prof, you're not a very good liar" she lets out a small chuckle. "When was the last time you took a nap?" She asks, like genuinely curious and kind of worried but without pushing too much.
*PROF glances up at her before taking a bite of his sandwich
Prof: next question.
Pom sits down and takes a bite from her lunch, a nice looking sandwich with Mac and cheese and some breaded chicken tenders. "I see but.. you seem quite tired, you could continue after you finish lunch!" She said happily
*PROF chuckles but shakes his head. Not looking up from his work.
Prof: nah. not that tired...
*that was clearly a lie.
