I know that a full chapter downloads when I'm on the page (when all the chapter is visible). I've run into the same problem before. I can only download a fic if I download each chapter separately and will typically wait a while between downloads so that the app isn't overwhelmed and crashes. Hope that helps :)

So its not just that the thing hates me, that's good to know! Lol

Ill have to try waiting longer between each chapter and see if that helps but I can't download all the chapters as one thing? that sucks
