I had finish 3 time the second book ( one by parents) so if i correctly understand : lyzander was manipulated by roxana because he loved Isabella ; roxana is an horrible wife ; juliane is far beyand being a jerk . Am i good ?

Roxana and Lysander both loved Isabella. Shortly after Isabella and Lysander became engaged, Anetha made Isabella a subject of the Constellation Project after Lysander found out the true aims of the project and tried to pull funding/support. Isabella left NMC and her child was born eight months later. She had minimal contact with Lysander and her friends from NMC, and feared for herself and her child’s safety. Roxana learned about what Anetha did to Isabella and decided to get revenge, conspiring with the perpetrators of the Delacroix Massacre. She also had a child with Lucas for the express purpose of having her kid be friends with Isabella’s, and as a backup plan to kill Anetha, since Roxana was subjected to the Constellation Project under Anetha’s orders and knew her child might be a keeper. 

Leading up to the Delacroix Massacre, Roxana stole holy oil from Nymph Isle and manipulated Lysander into helping her kill Anetha because of what she did to Isabella, convincing him to break the wards specifically protecting Anetha. Lysander didn’t realize doing this would destabilize all of the wards protecting the household; Roxana didn’t care as long as Anetha died. Roxana compelled Isabella not to talk to protect her, and compelled Lysander not to talk to tie up loose ends. The night of the Delacroix Massacre, Roxana brought her child to the Delacroix party then Nymph Isle. She met with her co-conspirator on Nymph Isle, then was murdered by her co-conspirator after she rejected him. Isabella was shocked and horrified at what happened and told Lysander to get out of her life.

Julian worked on the Constellation Project as a Frostbite spy and abused and mind controlled his wife. He made Alexa participate in the Constellation Project in the hopes that their child would be a keeper. Professor Ebner and Melanthe Sinclair were Julian’s colleagues working on the Constellation Project, and they found out about his treatment of Alexa. Melanthe got Brant to threaten Julian, and after that failed, the three of them conspired to kill Julian. Instead, Julian killed Alexa, wounded Melanthe and Henrik, then faked his own death, and a few months later helped perpetrate the Delacroix Massacre. He later became an instructor for Project Deimos (the Frostbite training program for children/teens) and later posed as Professor Tremblay.

lucas deserves the world and he deserves to get his happy ending with ebner. (also, the choices of being able to tease ebner is *chef's kiss*)

as funny as i think that ebner liking both single dad And single mom, i also think that it’s a little romantic. i meme about ebner all the time, but he was probably one of my favorite staff characters, and seeing him in the position of, like, pursuing a romantic relationship with lucas or previously having feelings for isabella kind of cements that :]

Honestly I'm surprised Henrik wasn't one of the romantic partner options for the single mom storyline I thought he was going to be involved in every Keeper parent background

okay, so i know in the previous demo if you had Lucas as your dad you find out that he's kinda sorta seeing Ebner... i just want to know if they can keep dating 😢 Lucas has been through enough with Roxana and his past exes, i just want to see my dad happy!😭 thanks for answering and writing such a great story, you really know how to get a girl invested in fictional characters

Hello~ Hope you're having a wonderful day. I was hoping you could answrr most of my questions. If not that's okay. Does Professor Ebner know that adopted!MC is Alexa and Julian's child? Did Ebner and Alexa ever express love/date eachother? How did he feel about us when we were a toddler and how does he feel about us currently if he knows who we are? Lastly , if Ebner and Alexa were in love and their plan was successful, would he have been in the MC's life from the very beginning ?

Ebner knows that Anderson MC is Alexa and Julian’s child. Ebner and Alexa were never romantically involved. He doesn’t care for children. Mixed feelings toward Anderson MC because they’re Julian’s kid too, and Julian was kind of a complete monster. If the plan were successful, Alexa probably would have fled NMC entirely (with Anderson MC).
